Review:

In this paper, the authors perform a detailed study of slope instabilities induced by earthquakes ranging from theoretical and methodological aspects, through the collection and processing of existing data and new data in a studio located in the Aragonese Pyrenees, eventually some conclusions and recommendations emerging from a critical and reasoned analysis of the different standard methodologies applied in microzonation of such instabilities. The authors present a history of markedly multidisciplinary and have proven experience in the study of such geodynamic processes in different environments and different lithologies. This provides a considerable rigor is found in the structure of work, the completeness of the references used and the depth of qualitative and quantitative analysis achieved. Also shown are conclusions and recommendations based on critical analysis of the applicability of the different methodologies used in the cartographic analysis of landslides.
