In November 2007 the Ministry of Environment and Education and Science, made ​​the decision to sign an agreement for the task of managing the Geological Survey of Spain whose goal was focused on the realization of scientific-technical support sustainability and protection of groundwater to maintain their potential roles and achieve sustainable management through a harmonized approach to qualitative and quantitative processes, in accordance with the provisions of the Water Act, the Water Framework Directive and Directive on the protection of groundwater against pollution and deterioration. This document presents a summary of the results of work undertaken to complete the activities to be entrusted, and intended as a guide as to show to those who examine the scope of the work.
